Keiko Foss (who did a three-day fast to start off Ambassadors for Peace appointments) & Cindy Pfeiffer began their outreach earlier in the week reaching out to past contacts of good character, through prayer, that we felt would be appropriate to be appointed as Ambassadors for Peace. Many ideas started to open up. Keiko reached out to a minister’s wife, a young Kurdish couple Mahdy & Soham Bawary, a former Am/Peace’s daughter, able-type relatives, and community leaders; both Keiko and Cindy went to the city hall showing the DVD there. Both of us made individual appointments throughout the week.

Mahdy & Soham Barwardi, youth leader

We wanted to make Sunday evening special by reaching out to our longtime contacts: the Kurdish family that we have been connected to. In 1995 two Kurdish couples: Salman & Helema Barwardi & Annis & Khadija Yesin attended the Satellite Blessing in Minneapolis with Juergen & Cindy Pfeiffer. Salman was a military general for 19 years and worked with the US in the zone-free area during the Golf War. Likewise, his son-in-law, Annis Yesin was one of the translators who also helped the US military during the Golf War. This family has a long history of suffering in their home country of Kurdistan, Iraq. Many Kurdish families had their villages air-dumped with chemicals by Saddam Hussein’s regime; they had to repeatedly flee to the hillsides in the middle of the night to avoid exposure. Many still have adverse affects like stunted growth. Some had to flee through mountainous terrain carrying their children only to feel them die in their arms. Being in a well know position, this particular family had to buy other people’s identity to escape. They waited for three years in a refugee camp in Turkey until the US government could find sponsors for such a huge amount of refugees. In our area, the Lutheran Social Services sponsored the Kurds. They still travel back and forth to Kurdistan and are a beautiful example of a solid three-generational family living in close contact. By looking at the photo we can see families that are fruitful—having many children. They are truly desirous of world peace and feel very connected to our founder! Salman Barwardi is very proud of the fact that he resembles our Founder, True Father. During the 50 state tour, he danced at the entrance when seeing Father there. They looked very happy to be appointed Am/Peace!

John & Keiko Foss prepared their home beautifully, and each family brought dishes of food to share. For the weeks’ total, counting this Sunday, we have appointed 18 new Ambassadors for Peace.

North Dakota Family Church Support the World Peace Tour

World Peace Tour of 120 Ambassadors for Peace

10 gathered in North Dakota at the Robert Street Chapel, an interfaith chapel in downtown Fargo. We all felt a united and loving atmosphere, embraced each other and the great ideas and action ahead. We projected our hearts and minds to support this most gallant effort of our clergy and ambassadors of peace as they begin this world outreach.

The Program:

Song: "This is my Song"

Opening Prayer: Keiko Foss

Keynote Reading: God’s Ideal Family and the Peace Kingdom by Cindy Pfeiffer

(Selections also read by Frank Gonzalez & John Foss)

Closing Prayer: John Foss

Ambassador of Peace Presentation by Cindy Pfeiffer for:

Frank and Norma Gonzalez & Chris Poer

Frank and Norma's family deeply understand true family values and are a spectacular example of a loving family. We totally appreciate their love and support.

Special Thanks to Artist Marjorie Schlossman for the use of the Chapel. Participants commented that the passionate paintings were appropriate imagery for the Pentecost needed to create the united heart required for this great undertaking.

Opening Song Cindy Pfeiffer reads the Keynote Address:

Family Church is My Heavenly Home

Winning Combination: S.O.W. & Hondok Home Church

Rev. Seo and Family Visit North Dakota
May 29:
Rev. Seo, family and his support team visited North Dakota to convey his developing internal guides for "one-on-one" teaching and family and tribal size churches he calls "Hondok Home Church."
Thank for the special effort made by the Trenbeath and Immel family in traveling the distance to Fargo. And of course, even more so to Rev. Seo. (He traveled the farthest.) Rev. Seo will be sending out power point presentations in the future detailing his ideas.
Rev. Seo is emerging as an internal leader even to the top leadership. His insights come directly from his study and meditation of Father's words. He also speaks with direct experience in restoring his family in Korea and personal success in the Minnesota region in recently bringing 43 new members through the attitudes and methods he teaches. We have been struggling as a movement to bring the success that each of us know in our hearts we should be achieving. It is usually the "ignoring" of basic, simple truths that block our effective action.
I will now give only my reflection of these two topics. I believe both concepts which were presented in (2) one hour sessions are the essential components for the fulfillment of our religious ideals in our lifetime. There are no more important topics than the ones we discussed.

S.O.W. (Strategic One-on-one teaching)
We join our movement for two reasons:
(1) The spiritual joy of "Object Partnership" and
(2) The unsurpassed truth of "Divine Principle."
Divine Principle is not a past providential stepping stone that our movement has passed over. It is an essential truth for overcoming fallen nature, for the emergence and development of our original minds and serves as a platform for understanding universal truth. It is essential for our understanding of the "structure of love." Through the intense investment of one-on-one teaching, the love / truth dynamic is ignited for both the teacher and the taught, and we bring rebirth and blessing. We reawaken our partnership of love with God, with our spouse (my wife looks better to me now)!, with our children, between families and friends and with our natural environment.
Humans are design to be borne in love, one at a time. All prophets were enlighten one-on-one with God. Father at 16 years of age received one-on-one attention from Jesus. Father taught early disciples one-on-one. And each of us had the experience of being the center of the Universe through a one-on-one object partnership experience with God.

Hondok Home Church as the essential component in the realization of God's Kingdom.
After birth, humans are design to grow and expand in love eternally. HDK Home Church is the means to create the environment to fulfill that design. It is a comfortable place where love can abide. Families and extended church families can gather there and feel accepted and loved. It is comfortable for all because God is living there. Children want to come home where they feel loved, protected and nourished. There is a refrigerator there and a place eat together. But more important is the "spiritual frig and kitchen" were we can nourish our souls. Faith, Love and Obedience are staples that all share to create our internal heavenly home with in our external house.
It is a place to make holy children and holy families. It is a place that passes holiness from generation to generation, a place of "real eternal life." It is the location of the True Garden of Eden. (My son was asked when he was 3 where God was living and he said, "in my closet"). The spirit world dances and sings in our homes atmosphere, as we dance and sing with our extended family church.
Up to now, churches grow large and stop growing because leaders proudly hold tight to their position and authority. The membership, in handing this overbearing authority to their leaders, gain a "safe haven" from responsibility in an invisible tradeoff. It is an illusion created by our fallen natures. Both leaders and members deep inside are frustrated and complain about the other. In the end we are individually totally responsible for our spiritual lives. Any thing less result in something less that the Kingdom of Heaven. Our unfolding lives reveal the truth. 80% of youth leave the religion under which they were raised when they go to college. We must not be faceless families in large church institution.
Through HDH Home Church, Blessed Couples are empower with the full authority that God intended for Adam and Eve. God can directly work through them to create that heavenly environment. They have a high degree of freedom but also a corresponding high degree of responsibility. Our homes become gathering places for 3 to 6 families, where they can gather, study, live and love together.
It is the environment to inspire "Object Partnership" between spouses, families, extend families, close friends and the environment of beauty. There we assemble and employ all the tools necessary to bring complete success, spiritually and physically for our lives. We are borne and re-borne, unfold and flower and become the channel for blessing in the atmosphere of our HDH Home Church.
Mother Churches, in regions and state have an essential role, in connecting all "Object Partnerships" of love. I like the term "mother church" that Rev. Seo used be cause it clarifies the nurturing "Holy Spirit" responsibly of raising and offering HDH Home Churches to God, and his will, not holding them as her own possessions. The Mother Church should not be an overly dominating force concern with her own political and financial success.
Mother Churches connect us personally as tribes to the larger whole, drawing the HDH Home churches out of their everyday concerns to consider and contribute to the world providence. They connect us to True Parents and providential activities. It is an essential "Object Partnership" that each of us must develop fully in True Love.
Everyday living and loving is done in our homes with our HDH families, but alance with the Mother Church is essential for our fulfillment as True People.

In conclusion:
SOW education and HDK Home Church are a winning combination. Marry soul-filled education, with an environment where we are personally empowered with a complete sense of ownership and responsibility. Connect that HDH Home to the State/Country / World / Cosmos thru the universal familyhood of our Mothering movement.
We look forward to Rev. Seo's detailed explanation in power point form in the near future. He has asked each of us to respond with questions and experiences. So please send your inspirations and comment. Send a copy to me and I will continue to add them to our journal. We will have a collection of ideas we can go back and review and expand.
Let us plant our gardens one by one, nurture them constantly, and delight in their growth!

Thanks again to Rev. & Mrs. Seo, Kyobong, Noriko and Cerge for your prays and action in support of our state.
